Every Wednesday night, come and experience the most relaxed quiz setting in the land. So much so, you might recognise it as the setting of a pub quiz night in a recent Kiwi film! Starting at 7.30pm, you'll be able to see the quiz on any of their four big screen tellys in the sports bar, and enjoy the hospitality on which they pride their reputation. New Zealand's oldest riverside tavern, The Riverhead has been a house of refreshment and conviviality for around 150 years. In that time it has seen many events and stories come and go, countryfolk and townspeople, fishermen and farmers, smugglers and clergymen, marauding riders of the night through to social visits from the local constabulary. Come out and see what a beautiful job of refurbishing the grand old lady that Stephen and Paula have done.
